Performance PowerShell - Plaid Edition
Description:
Do you write code that works, but you want it to work faster? Do you compare the run speed of your code to watching paint dry? If your code was a car, would the speedometer stop at 10 MPH? If so, join us to learn how to take your code to the next level. We'll examine different cmdlets, methods, and design choices that can have an impact on your code, what you can do to fix it, and how to make your code really squeal like a well-greased pig. Disclaimer: No pigs will actually be greased during this session.

What you will learn:
  • Why some things are faster than others in PowerShell
  • How to optimize your code for speed
  • How to find areas of opportunity in your code
