App Packaging for Intune (Option 1)

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Description:
Intune lacks a lot of the controls that we've had in MEMCM for the past 14 years or so which means we need to find creative solutions to control how apps are installed. Things like pre-requisites, ordering of application installs, copying files to folders, etc. In this session, we will cover packaging apps using the Win32 Content Prep Tool as well as third-party tools for creating custom .msi files.

What you will learn:
  • Why do we need to package apps for Intune
  • How to create custom MSI files using Advanced Installer
  • How to create Win32 apps using PowerShell and the Win32 Content Prep Tool
  • PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit tips and tricks
