Description:
BIOS Management is not a trivial task. With updates, initial configuration, and drift, a lot of time can be consumed by this endeavor. It is a necessary task, with no fanfare when you do a good job. However, we are here to help ease the pain by providing a few ideas and processes that can help keep you current and primed for success no matter your organizational requirements and limitations. In this session, we will cover how to meet compliance goals as it relates to BIOS management by showing a reusable/repeatable modular framework that can be used in different scenarios, such as bare metal, in-place upgrade (WaaS), as well as existing deployed systems.

What you will learn:
  • Why you should be keeping up with BIOS updates
  • How to keep up with BIOS updates using Configuration Manager and Intune
  • BIOS password management
  • Configuring BIOS Settings
