Description:
Patching is important. You're not trustworthy enough. I'm not trustworthy enough. It need not be said that Jordan is DEFINITELY not to be trusted. Face it, in the long term we're terrible at doing boring and repetitive tasks. In this session, we'll talk about strategies we have used in the real world to fully automate patching processes at numerous organizations. We'll cover the good, the bad, and the ugly special little snowflakes that keep you up at night. Bring your skepticism and take away a begrudging willingness for the machines to run your life. Don't worry, just relax, this won't hurt a bit.

What you will learn:
  • Why relying on humans is a bad idea
  • How to iteratively move towards automation
  • A renewed love for the all-powerful ADR
  • How to keep your control freak creds
